  • Razan Ghazzawi, Oregon State University

    Razan Ghazzawi (they/them/هم) is an assistant professor of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Oregon State University. Their research focuses on queer of color critique, social movements, queer migration, and political violence in the "war on terror" and "refugee crisis" contexts. Ghazzawi is currently working on their book monograph on queer protests and the counter-revolution in the Syria, Lebanon, and Palestinian camps. They are a fellow at the Middle East Studies Association (MESA) Global Academy for the 2024/2025 academic year.
