Author Biography

  • Anna Hager, University of Vienna

    Anna Hager is a senior research fellow at the Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Vienna, Austria. She has published on Christian-Muslim relations, Christians in the Middle East, and the Syriac Orthodox Church in Guatemala. Her most recent book, Christian-Muslim Relations in the Aftermath of the Arab Spring: Beyond the Polemics over "The Innocence of Muslims", came out in 2024 with Edinburgh University Press.
